Pork chops are inexpensive, readily available and extremely versatile. Bake, fry or grill them and you won’t go wrong. For your next grilling session, try these pork chop recipes – tasty, easy to make and perfect for guests of all ages!
Soy Yummy Honey Grilled Chops
What you need:
8 boneless pork chops
1/4 cup organic honey
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
1 tablespoon white vinegar
Salt and ground black pepper to taste
In a small bowl, mix together honey, vegetable oil and soy sauce until well-combined. Sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides of each chop then place on a large re-sealable plastic bag. Pour honey mixture over meat and seal bag. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour. When ready, discard marinade and cook meat on a pre-heated grill over medium-high heat for 4 to 5 minutes per side or until cooked through.
Saucy Korean Style BBQ Pork Chops
What you need:
6 pieces boneless center cut pork chops
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce
2 tablespoons minced garlic
2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
2 tablespoons water
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon chili paste
1 tablespoon minced green onions
1 teaspoon minced ginger
1 teaspoon sesame oil
In a saucepan, combine sugar, soy sauce, garlic, vinegar, chili paste, ginger and sesame oil. Cook and stir over medium heat. In a small bowl, mix together water and cornstarch then add mixture to the sauce. Bring sauce to a boil then continue cooking until mixture has thickened, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Place chops on a pre-heated grill, brush with sauce then cook over medium-high heat for 5 minutes. Flip, brush with sauce and cook for another 5 minutes. Or until cooked through. Serve immediately.
Chili and Sugar Rubbed Grilled Pork Chops
What you need:
8 bone-in pork rib chops (about 3/4 inch thick)
3 tablespoons sweet paprika
1 tablespoon kosher salt
1 tablespoon ground black pepper
3/4 teaspoon chili powder
3/4 teaspoon sugar
3/4 teaspoon onion powder
3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cayenne
Vegetable oil spray
Mix together paprika, kosher salt, black pepper, chili powder, sugar, onion powder, garlic powder and cayenne in a bowl to prepare dry rub. Rub mixture evenly all over chops then place on a re-sealable plastic bag. Seal and refrigerate for at least 8 hours. When ready, remove chops from the refrigerator and allow to sit, covered, in room temperature for 15 to 20 minutes. Cook on a pre-heated grill over medium heat for 4 to 5 minutes per side or until cooked through.
